The journey to this realization can be harsh just as winter winds blow and the frost chills us to the bone. It is also an ushering inward to the fire that warms and nourishes our body-mind-spirit. Inside the discomfort, the icy and jagged edges of winter lies a teacher bringing crystal clarity. It is from this place that when the ice begins to melt it creates fertile soil for spring to bloom.
